Summit's shallow-depth series of undercounter refrigeration is perfect for small spaces in kitchens, wet bars, and other settings. The SDHW2442PNR is a 24” wine cellar that is only 18” deep, making it ideal for compact areas. Its 34” height allows for easy installation under any counter space.
The built-in design is complemented by a fully finished black cabinet, making it suitable for freestanding use as well. Plus, the rear and right angle cord ensures a seamless fit. For added security, there is a lock located in the kickplate. With its fully articulating European hinge and 2-piece bracket kit for custom door trim, the panel-ready SDHW2442PNR offers easy installation and a user-reversible door swing for convenience.
The interior is constructed with stainless steel, providing increased durability and sanitation. Additionally, there are dimmable white LED lights built into the side walls, giving a sophisticated display effect. The temperature can be adjusted between 41º and 68ºF with the angled digital control panel, perfect for storing red, white, or sparkling wine bottles. Our unique jet black steel shelves slide out effortlessly, with a classy stainless steel front trim.
The fan-forced cooling system ensures consistent temperature distribution and quick temperature recovery. Other features include an open-door alert, high-temperature alert, and a Sabbath mode option that deactivates specific electrical features for up to 96 hours during religious observances.
The SDHW2442PNR is certified to meet NSF-7 commercial standards and is also suitable for residential use. Its high-end design, user-friendly features, and remarkably shallow depth make it an ideal option for a wide range of environments. Complete the set by pairing it with our SDHG2443PNR beverage center. There are alternative 18” deep options available in widths of 15”, 19”, and 24”, such as outdoor refrigerators and refrigerator drawers.
Please note that the interior of this unit can accommodate up to 18 Bordeaux-style bottles. To ensure a proper fit, we suggest placing the cork end of the bottle towards the back of the unit. While wider Burgundy bottles will generally fit on the shelves, the capacity may vary depending on your specific bottle sizes. If needed, you may remove shelves to make room for thicker bottles, such as champagne or sparkling wine.
